Dr. Vida-Lynn believes that Individuals should have access to mental health treatment without fear of stigma, prejudice, and discrimination. She shows respect and compassion in her practice to ensure that her patients are comfortable during the recovery process.

She has been participating in community health events to provide education on mental health awareness and treatment. Vida-Lynn received membership to the Golden Key honor society and Sigma Theta Thau Nursing Honor Society for academic excellence during her undergraduate and graduate education.
